Worship convictions
We sing only the inspired Psalms of Scripture, a cappella. The New Testament gives no warrant for instruments in Christian worship, and Christ abolished the Old Covenant temple ceremonies that included them. The Spirit-breathed Psalter is God's authorized hymnbook. We sing with voices only — as the church has worshiped throughout most of its history.
We read and preach from the New King James Version because of its accuracy, readable modern English, and its fidelity to the received (traditional) text.
Children belong in the assembly with their parents, not in a separate program, as Paul reminded Timothy, “from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures” (2 Tim. 3:15).
